All U.S. children should get seasonal flu shot: CDC

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - All U.S. children aged 6 months to 18 years should get a seasonal influenza vaccine every year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday.
The CDC's Dr. Anne Schuchat said the agency was strengthening recommendations for children to get the vaccination against seasonal influenza, especially with fears that the new H1N1 virus will be added to the already expected burden of seasonal flu.

State of emergency a precaution

A State of Emergency has been declared by the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
The declaration was passed at an emergency meeting of the Regional Board on Sunday afternoon, July 19th as a precautionary measure only in the event the Glenrosa forest fire was to cross the boundary with the District of West Kelowna and move into the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area.
The declaration would give the Regional District special powers to deal with such an emergency in order to ensure public safety.

It's curious to me that it doesn't say what the "special powers" are. When do any of us get special powers? You don't. If you go in there to try to help anyone you will be arrested.
Basically they now have the right to enter your property without a warrant, you have now lost all rights to your personal property. They can now legally steal and/or destroy anything they like. You can be forced to work; slavery? That's what it says read it yourself. They can shut down any road they like. Those are the major ones anyways. Did you vote for that? My best wishes and prayers go to all those effected by this.
My Home Town is on Fire, I grew up in Glenrosa. This seems very odd to me that now 4 fires are burning in different areas and two are across a mile wide lake. All start at the same time. This seems like arson to me and I don't suspect it is just kids causing trouble. Roads have been closed and even back forestry roads are blocked. I am out of town and can't get to my friends and family. I'm praying for everyone.
