What an extraordinary situation is that of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he feels it. But from the point of view of daily life, without going deeper, we exist for our fellow-men — in the first place for those on whose smiles and welfare all our happiness depends, and next for all those unknown to us personally with whose destinies we are bound up by the tie of sympathy. A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depend on the labours of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving. I am strongly drawn to the simple life and am often oppressed by the feeling that I am engrossing an unnecessary amount of the labour of my fellow-men. I regard class differences as contrary to justice and, in the last resort, based on force. I also consider that plain living is good for everybody, physically and mentally. In human freedom in the philosophical sense I am definitely a disbeliever. Everybody acts not only under external compulsion but also in accordance with inner necessity. Schopenhauer's saying, that "a man can do as he will, but not will as he will," has been an inspiration to me since my youth up, and a continual consolation and unfailing well-spring of patience in the face of the hardships of life, my own and others'. This feeling mercifully mitigates the sense of responsibility which so easily becomes paralyzing, and it prevents us from taking ourselves and other people too seriously; it conduces to a view of life in which humour, above all, has its due place.
To inquire after the meaning or object of one's own existence or of creation generally has always seemed to me absurd from an objective point of view. And yet everybody has certain ideals which determine the direction of his endeavours and his judgments. In this sense I have never looked upon ease and happiness as ends in themselves — such an ethical basis I call more proper for a herd of swine. The ideals which have lighted me on my way and time after time given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Without the sense of fellowship with men of like mind, of preoccupation with the objective, the eternally unattainable in the field of art and scientific research, life would have seemed to me empty. The ordinary objects of human endeavour — property, outward success, luxury — have always seemed to me contemptible.

We are all seeking answers- that is why we come to this website.
The Truth you are really looking for will not be found here directly, so it is important to not take your life so seriously.
The seeking that has led you here is an energy that needs to be redirected inwardly, and here is why-
Nothing is what it seems.
This is the first law of the Unknown. Doesn't matter what you think reality is because anything you THINK is a lie in relation to the Ultimate Truth.
That being said, the first thing you must do is let go of any ideas of what being awake is. Awakening does not occur as you learn book knowledge, secret knowledge, or any kind of knowledge.
You notice how some people, especially on this site, like to brag and boast that they are very Awake, yaddah yaddah yaddah...because they KNOW things other people don't know.
What does it mean? It's kind of like the child who says I know something you don't know, and I won't tell you. And most of time what they wouldn't tell us was just some made up lie, only produced in an attempt to gain control over us.
But they only have power when we allow them to, right?
Knowing the world is actually ran by reptilians from another planet, or that we descended from a genetic experiment of aliens, or that Planet X is a reality-
All of this Knowledge does not make you anymore Awake than you were before.
All that has happened is you are now believing another set of concepts instead of the ones you were given before.
This is a very important point-
You see, the decepetion lies here- when you "break" your old poaradigm, and feel the shift occur, you feel very liberated, almost like a "new born'.
That is why the Christians have even coined the term- it feels so good that when it occurs, people take this to be enlightenment or awakening.
It is not.
The true awakening occurs when you experience the fact that there is no You in the sense that you once thought.
In other words, you are quite mistaken about what you are, and it cannot be explained to you in words.
It is something that cannot be bought, sold, or learned in a book or on a website.
This is very important to realize.

Japan nuclear iodine radiation in San Francisco raw milk detected at 2600% EPA drinking water limits and in store bought milk 1045% above EPA limits by the latest University of Berkeley radiation tests. The UCB also claimed that all radiation levels in the milk were starting to level off while the data shows a sharp increase in cesium radiation in their milk samples after their statement.
The latest UCB radiation test show two raw milk samples collected before pasteurization and homogenization contained 2.9 Bq/L and 1.49 Bq/L of radioactive iodine.

WSJ.com Senior Technology Editor Julia Angwin reports Apple's iPhone and Google's Android regularly transmit user location data back to those companies, based on data analyzed by The Wall Street Journal.
Apple Inc.'s iPhones and Google Inc.'s Android smartphones regularly transmit their locations back to Apple and Google, respectively, according to data and documents analyzed by The Wall Street Journal—intensifying concerns over privacy and the widening trade in personal data.
Google and Apple are gathering location information as part of their race to build massive databases capable of pinpointing people's locations via their cellphones. These databases could help them tap the $2.9 billion market for location-based services—expected to rise to $8.3 billion in 2014, according to research firm Gartner Inc.

At least 13 mourners were shot dead on Saturday as Syrians swarmed the streets to bury scores of demonstrators killed in massive protests and two MPs resigned in frustration at the bloodshed.
Activists said the death toll from Friday's protests could top 100, pending confirmation of a list of names.
Two independent MPs from the protest hub city of Daraa, Nasser al-Hariri and Khalil al-Rifai, told Al-Jazeera television they were resigning in frustration at not being able to protect their constituents.
Daraa's top religious leader, Mufti Rizq Abdulrahman Abazeid, also quit.
Friday's deaths signalled no let-up from President Bashar al-Assad, whose forces used live ammunition against demonstrators nationwide, witnesses and activists told AFP.

When Mitchell Crooks checked out of the county jail last month and checked into a Las Vegas hospital, the 36-year-old videographer knew he had a fight on his hands.
His face was bloodied and bruised. His $3,500 camera had been impounded by police, and he faced criminal charges for battery on a police officer.
One month later, things have changed for Crooks.
The Clark County district attorney's office has dropped all charges, and Crooks has retained an attorney of his own. The Metropolitan Police Department has opened an internal investigation into the Las Vegas police officer, Derek Colling, who Crooks says falsely arrested and beat him for filming police.
And his camera -- which captured the entire March 20 altercation between Crooks and Colling -- has been returned.
The words are friendly enough, but the tone is tense:
"Can I help you, sir?" Colling asks from his patrol car after parking it in front of Crooks' driveway and shining the spotlight on Crooks.
"Nope. Just observing," Crooks responds, fixing his camera on the officer.

Japan: Radiation levels remain high, evacuation zone expanded

BEIJING, April 23 (Xinhuanet) -- More people living near Fukushima's damaged nuclear power plant will have to evacuate their homes next month. The decision comes after experts warned that radiation levels would remain dangerously high across a wider area.
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano confirmed that five towns outside the existing 20 kilometer exclusion zone would be included in the evacuation zone because of radiation risks.
Yukio Edano, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary, said, "There is a chance that the accumulation of radiation exposure in the area over one year will exceed 20 millisieverts. Therefore, we've designated the area as a fixed evacuation zone"
The announcement comes a day after the government declared the 20 kilometer exclusion zone a no-go area.
